Walking Tour: Green Park Station to Kilburn Station

We set out for this walk from Green Park Station to Kilburn Station on a slightly windy, slightly overcast summers day in the city. This is a great walk if you're keen to see some major London landmarks such as Hyde Park and Marble Arch and also get a flavour of some of the more eastern-influenced areas of this diverse city. We even managed to catch a bit of protest action at Marble Arch.

Edgware Road Station

This 7km walk takes around 2hours, but factor in a bit of extra time to stop off at some of the cool locations along the way, such as Speakers Corner and Church Street Market. Check out these and other attractions in our Green Park Station to Kilburn Station, London video on our Skint Adventure YouTube channel. This is also a great one if you're not hot with directions as you'll end up walking in a straight line for most of this route.

📌 The key attractions on this route, that you can check out in the video, include:

  • Green Park
  • Green Park Station
  • Hyde Park
  • Park Lane
  • Speakers Corner
  • Joy of Life Fountain
  • Marble Arch
  • Still Water Sculpture
  • Marble Arch Station
  • Edgware Road
  • Edgware Road Station
  • Church Street Market
  • Maida Vale

Edgware Road is 14km (9miles) long and stretches all the way from Marble Arch to the London Borough of Barnet. The route originated from a Roman route and runs for 10miles in an almost straight line. The name of the road changes at different points along the way (e.g. Kilburn High Street, Cricklewood Broadway), but as a whole the road is known as Edgware Road.
